Play Summary

Play’s Theme: Nature and love.
A pantomime artist is deeply influenced by a fairy tale book he reads and wishes to share the story with children so much that the purity and beauty of this desire cause the book to come to life. Suddenly, butterflies, bees, flowers, musicians, narrators, and puppets emerge from the book. The tale comes alive, like nature itself. The narrators begin to tell the story, the puppeteers animate the characters from the book, and the musicians start to play the music of the book, initiating a nature tale.

The story of Wise Grandpa and Tarçın is narrated in the tale.
Tarçın, whose parents are on a business trip, will start attending an art school opened for children during the summer vacation; for this, his parents take him to his grandfather’s house in the forest. A wonderful and lively summer begins in the forest; however, Tarçın is sad for being separated from his parents for the first time. He has withdrawn into himself and has become irritable. He struggles to adapt to his new school, friends, and life in the forest. However, his grandfather’s love, the power of nature, and unexpected events will change Tarçın significantly.
